The Road—well, airplane—trip to Sweden

Hejsan allesamman! Likely you know who I am already, if you follow this blog, and I just figured out how to blog from my phone :) So, you'll be seeing plenty of posts from me as I spend the academic semester studying in Sweden.
The trip went miraculously smoothly, with hardly any delays and certainly nothing that affected my flight connections. From Iowa to Florida, I flew within a day through Atlanta. The subsequent day was spent flying from Florida through Newark with my dad, where we then boarded the flight to Stockholm Arlanda. We arrived about half an hour early, and so we were the first plane in. Customs thus took a wonderful five minutes, with no line to wait whatsoever.
From there, we took a taxi to the hotel around the Marieberg area, and that's where we stay now. Tomorrow, I move into my dorm room finally, so this is my last full day at the hotel. In a later post, I'll catch up to what I've done yesterday and today since the arrival, but I'm going to try to post photos with everything, too!
Since I apparently can't attach more than one photo from my phone app, and I can't caption it anyway, I'll upload more from the journey to Sweden in a later post! For now, a photo of my stuffed penguin looking out the airport window will have to suffice. It was taken as we left Newark.
Vi hörs!
